Not to be confused with a green tomato, these green and zesty fruits of summer are a great way to add new flavor to your cooking. Commonly used in Mexican cuisine (think salsa verde), tomatillos are a refreshing treat.

Storage: Keep in husks in the refrigerator up to a couple of weeks.

Preparing: Remove husks and rine off. Tomatillos can be served raw or cooked. Most commonly used in tomatillo salsa, there are also several other ways to use them. Try them grilled, raw in salads, roasted, or stewed!
